About

Born and raised in San Francisco, DJ Mikecool has always been inspired and uplifted by the diversity and culture that surrounded him growing up. Falling in love with hip-hop at such an early age influenced his style of djaying as a turntablist. He strives to keep the dj culture alive with his scratch and mixing skills combined with his creativity and diverse music knowledge. Mikecool considers himself a multi-genre dj because he believes no genre should be left untouched. He has opened up for several acts, including Jermaine Dupri, G-Eazy, Lil Uzi Vert, YFN Lucci, Sage the Gemini, Kap G, Lil Durk, Iamsu, Nipsey Hussle, RJ, Show Banga and Nef The Pharoah, Rayven Justice, OMB Peezy, All Black, Azizi Gibson, Rexx Life Raj and many more. He also has won the 2015 Campus DJ competition for best college DJ at San Francisco State University. DJ Mikecool’s love for the DJ culture has carried him far and will continue to do so.
